ABQ INDIE SLAM CHAMPION QUALIFYING STARTING SOON
We've made a big change this year in the way we're chosing the Albuquerque City Champion.
Instead of naming the top finisher at the ABQ Grand Slam the city champ, we'll be having a seperate championship slam and qualifying process over the summer.

We'll be having mostly one-minute and two-minute qualifying slams (with a few three-minute slams thrown in ) over the summer at our regular slam venues.

The ABQ Indie Slam Championship will be held on Aug. 3-4 at a venue to be announced.
The winner of the ABQ Indie Slam will be the official ABQSlams representative at the international Individual World Poetry Slam in Fayetteville, Ark. in October 2012.

Stay tuned for the schedule of qualifying slams...
